What is a CSA?

The short answer: a produce subscription box!

The long answer: read our Membership Agreement.

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) programs link consumers directly with locally grown food. It is a partnership between farmers and community members where community members purchase a share of the farm's harvest at the beginning of the season.

How does it work?

You join by paying a membership fee at the beginning of the season, which covers the cost of weekly vegetable deliveries for the duration of the season. Then, once a week, you pick up your box of produce at St. Simon's Farm, 10950 SW 34 St., Miami, FL 33165.

Why is it beneficial?

Farmers benefit from having a secured market and early payment that helps cover start-up costs. Members benefit by receiving freshly picked, nutritious produce each week and by building a connection to the food they're eating and the folks that grow it. It's truly a win-win situation!

Our growing season is divided into two 12-week CSA seasons:

  • Fall Season share: October 28th through January 13th

  • Spring Season share: January 27th through April 21st
